Robot in Disguise
Drawings and Stories
Yalin Hu, Yuxing Yang and I created sketches to be combined while making the corpse. We each had extremely different styles. It was interesting to combine these and see what comes up.
Story of the Robot
I draw a robot that is a nanny robot in the future. The robot takes
care of the children. Its left arm is kind of vacuum cleaner and can
clean the floor. The robot can do all housework: wash dishes, put
things in order, and cook dinner. It has AI language assistant.
Children can communicate with the robot. The light on the center of
its head can twinkle when the robot starts to work.

Story of the Strawberry Milk
Because Charlie loves strawberry milk so much, he is cosplaying
strawberry milk. He wears a cow-head hat, holds a big strawberry toy
in his hand, and puts a milk box on his body. Because the dress is
heavy, he walks with a swaying.
-Yuxing
Story of the Octopus
This square headed, one eyed octopus lived in the seas of Europe in
the 80s. He moved from city to city exploring the waters. He loved
the corals and learnt to dress in bright colours from them. Every
time he would pass someone by he would lift his hat to greet them.
Everyone would always be happy to see him.

Final Corpse
Finally, I combined the head from Yalin's drawing and the legs from
Yuxing's to make this exquisite corpse. The story here is-
This is an R2D2 type of robot in disguise on a mission to save the
galaxy. He needs to blend in to the planet he is going to.
The antenna and eyes move with the mouse position. There is
a click and hold on the legs to make a jumping movement. The link to the editor is here.
Reflections
We each had different styles and it was fun to create this figure. I enjoyed figuring out the interactions and how I could make it more interactive and exciting.
